We Are Celebrating Spring with a Giveaway of Our Brand-new Children’s Book 

The first day of spring is just around the corner, and we are celebrating the coming of warmer days with a GIVEAWAY of our newest children’s book, Good Morning, Mother Nature. Enter the giveaway at the end of this post.

While snow is still on the ground in some states of our country, spring flowers are starting to bloom—and soon we will be enjoying warmer weather. If you are looking for a special gift for your little tykes, the delightful and heartwarming children’s picture book Good Morning, Mother Nature is perfect. The book pays homage to nature and wildlife and lets readers of all ages awaken to celebratory text that serves as an ode to the wonders of the outdoors. 

Written as a companion to the acclaimed Goodnight Great Outdoors, this new book presents another warm, rhyming tale by Lucas Alberg: “Good morning world. Good morning light. Good morning critters peeking into sight.” Highly stylized, playful artwork by Megan Marie Myers helps to create a whimsical picture book that will be a huge success with little ones.

About the authors: Lucas Alberg is a native Kansan who ventured out West in pursuit of outdoor adventures in the mountains. Finding his happy place in the Pacific Northwest, he soon combined his creative pursuits with his new home. Lucas currently works for an outdoors products company, plays music, writes, runs, and generally goes about life with a smile on his face. His adventures nearly always involve his lovely wife and two small children, and they always end with a treat. Good Morning, Mother Nature is Lucas’s third book and second children’s book. 

Megan Marie Myers is a painter, illustrator, and native Oregonian. A love for wild places is her constant inspiration; when she is not painting, she is out exploring trails and running in the Oregon outback. Megan’s favorite projects are inspired by the outdoors and the connection we have to our natural surroundings and to each other. In addition to illustration work, Megan paints original artwork and designs her own line of greeting cards, museum-quality fine art prints, calendars, and other paper goods as Megan Marie Myers Art, based in Bend, Oregon.

Good Morning, Mother Nature will be in a store near you beginning April 9th.
